We've been learning a lot of new words and improving our vocabulary. When we don't know a word, we are practicing new skills by looking up the word in the dictionary and using it in a sentence! This helps all students, whether they are English Language Learners or not.
Please watch the following videos if you need help with putting words in alphabetic order and finding them in the dictionary!
There is also a more in-depth discussion around using a dictionary here with pictures!

I have posted a few Quizizz assignments on there - you can retry the quizzes multiple times (some I have allowed you to redo 2 or 3 times) and submit the highest one when you are happy with it! Please ensure you are getting yourself signed up and connecting through your Google account, otherwise, it won't link your results to my class!
I will be starting to post some videos for you to watch to introduce you to our upcoming science unit on Lights and Sound. We will be working with Ms. Soltes on this unit to develop our understanding of sound through music. Please remember to check into your Google Classroom on a regular basis to see what has been posted for you in both her classroom and mine!
