Monday, June 1st Lesson Outline

Happy Monday 4A!! I hope you are all caught up and ready for our last full week of school before 1 month off! Next week we only have a few days and hopefully a class party! Have you been reading?!

LANGUAGE (1-1.5 hours):


Week 12 of Reading Comprehension - Do day 1 today! - We are learning about Non-Fiction text features! Check out these two videos to help you out:



Read for at least 20 minutes via Raz Kids, Epic, or your choice of book.


Wonder Novel Study - Listen to 15-20 minutes of the book daily (posted on the blog).


FANBOYS - Run-on sentences - This week we will be focusing on run-on sentences and sentence fragments. You will have the entire week to work through this. The assignment pages are posted on Google Classroom - But this set of slides should help you out! Make sure you have completed the "Subject & Predicate" and "Sentence Fragments" lessons first!



Study Ladder - Go on Study Ladder and practice some Language tasks!



MATH (1 hr):


Monday & Tuesday task: We are learning about Centuries and Decades! I have posted a worksheet for you to complete on Google Classroom. These slides will assist you with it:

Practice one round on XtraMath!

New tasks are provided on Prodigy to help practice today’s lesson. I only noted 11 students have logged on during the past 2 weeks, if you haven't been logging on... why not?

SCIENCE (1 hr): 

7 students still have not completed the Science Terminology Quizizz from last week!

Today we are learning about Structural and Behavioural Adaptations. Watch this:

Lastly, Watch this video of me reading the last section of your booklet to you and your assignment: Click here for video. When finished go to Google Classroom under the science tab and click on the Animals and Communities assignment - You will finish this up today to hand it into me so we can move onto our next part!
