Friday April 3rd Ketchups and Pickles

It's a beach party... Spring Into Reading! 

The only new tasks for today are:

1. Get onto Flipgrid - Respond to at least 3 of your classmates videos. Don't know how to respond? Check out the video I posted on Google Classroom!

2. Scroll to the bottom of this post for your beach themed fun! But DON'T forget to come back here and do your ketchups and pickles:

Ketchups:

Math 

1. Page 86-87 - Please remember there are some extra help pages posted on Google Classroom

2. XtraMath & Prodigy! Did you finish AT LEAST 10 questions on Prodigy this week?

Language

1. Writing prompts posted on Google Classroom that is now a week or two overdue - PLEASE check on Google Classroom under the assignments tab to ensure you're not missing anything.

2. Mad Libs about Bear -Posted on Google Classroom

3. Practice on Study Ladder - I still have a few students that have not logged in once this week or last

4. Read for 20 minutes - your choice

Science

1. Musical Instruments need to be finished (check Google Classroom for the lesson)

2. Natural and Artificial Light activity

3. Objects that emit or reflect light

** Only their musical instrument needs to be turned in at this time

Social Studies

1. Malaysia Geography/Animal Flipgrid World Pals Response - Jayvier made an AWESOME response actually showing what it looked like outside (thank you Jayvier) if you need a bit of inspiration. You can also check out the videos from other students from other countries :)

2. You will then check out the videos from all over the world from the other students and write down something new you learned about the country on the Google document I set up for you. This is all attached to the lesson on Google Classroom.

Pickles:

Pick any of the following activities 

1. Freckle

2. Epic, Raz, any reading of their choice

3. Study Ladder

4. I've also posted a coding activity that you can try to work through on Tynker - it is posted on Google Classroom - some work on only computers, some work on Tablets. 

5. Prodigy/XtraMath or the Math activity I have sent your parents - Quarter Squares - It's a puzzler today

6. Draw, Color, play cards
