Exploring Habitats

Your Choices for the "researching habitats" pages 36-37:
  1. Grasslands
  2. Savannahs
  3. Shallow seas
  4. Deep Oceans
  5. Shallow Seas
  6. Mountains
  7. Desert
  8. Tundra
  9. Polar
  10. Tropical Rainforest
  11. Deciduous Forest
  12. Freshwater
You can pick a certain area to research if you like... if you want to do African habitat specifically you can do that. Or Malaysian Rainforests, or the Great Barrier Reef shallow seas.

By Wednesday next week you need to have done up to and including Page 37.

Homework

A lot of students have math homework to do.

A reminder: word problems: you need to show all your thinking. Show all the math work.
You need a sentence that answers the question asked. For each part. It must be related to the question. Again. Please look below for tips if you forget! I posted about it yesterday.

Math Fact Masters

Congratulations to Kai Xin and Tanishka on getting through addition!!

Math Homework

PG 159 #3-8
Remember to Show your work, answer in complete sentences and make sure your sentence matches the question. So if your questions asks you how many groups of apples you have.. don't answer a column.

Angela has 12 groups of 5 apples.
56 more dinosaurs are needed at the park.

Math Magic

I bet you some of your minds are spinning! Can you think of your own math magic trick? We can go show the 6B class that they taught us how to do it. Try them at home, see if you can get one and we can go blow the 6B's minds!

I loved hearing all the math questions and minds going as you walked out the door! Awesome work today :)

100 Days of School!

In your daily 5 book re-arrange these letters to find as many words as you can! Has to be real words.. if you aren't sure, check the dictionary to see if it is a "real" word!

在你的每日5本书中重新安排这些字母,以找到尽可能多的单词!(excuse my Google Translation)

O - N - E    H - U - N - D - R - E - D - S    D - A - Y

Points:
You get a point for each letter - for example if you have a 3 letter word, you get 3 points, a 5 letter word gets you 5 points, a 10 letter word gets you 10 points!
