Good Morning 4A! I hope you had a good weekend!
A few students read their “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” books on Thursday at our Google Meet. If you want to scan their books I can create a shared folder where you can see each other’s stories. If you are going to scan them in, I ask that you scan it as one file, not different files for every page. If you need support on how to do this click here.
LANGUAGE (1 hr):
1. Complete day 3 of reading comprehension - Posted on Google Classroom - I will be marking your day 2 over the day today because I didn't get to it over the long weekend! Here are some videos to support you with "Making Inferences" which will help you with day 3-5 this week!

2. Read for at least 20 minutes via Raz Kids, Epic, or your choice of book
3. New Words Their Way tasks will be posted on Google Classroom - You can start with your initial sort - Your parents have the answer sheet if you would like to check! Or you can let me know you are done by turning in and I will check for you!
MATH (1 hr):
1. Keep working on Topic 3 & 4 of your math booklets - Booklet posted on Google Classroom & the slides/video lessons for these are found here: Addition & Subtraction Slides - Due May 11th
2. Practice one round on XtraMath. There are about 8 students that are super close to passing their level! If you want to know how close they are, you can send me a message on Google Hangouts!
3. Practice for at least 20 minutes on Prodigy: Please complete this on your own without asking for help! I want to see what you know so I can better help you with our next unit!
Optional Math: Jessie’s Jewelry: A problem written about me this time! Totally a coincidence though. This problem is all about patterns and problem-solving. Click here for Jessie’s Jewelry.
SCIENCE (1 hr):
1. Please make sure you have read the books posted last week on Omnivore, Herbivore, Carnivore, as well as Producer and Consumer. You will need to understand this vocabulary for this lesson.
2. You will now read page 3 entitled “Living Things and Energy” (labelled page 15 in the pdf) and complete page 4 “How Do We Get Energy? Reading Response” (labelled page 16) of your science booklet, which is posted on Google Classroom. Please do not press turn in every time! I am checking as we go! If the reading is too hard for you, you can listen to me read below:
